Editor's Note

I moved to the Gatlinburg area in 2010. In the years since, I’ve watched this town explode in popularity. The mountains are just as beautiful as they were a decade ago, but visiting them has gotten more complicated.

Traffic is heavier. Crowds are denser. And the internet is flooded with "Best of" lists written by bots or people who have never set foot in Tennessee.

I built Gatlinburg Info to cut through the noise.

My Promise

This isn't a travel agency. I’m not trying to sell you a timeshare or a cabin rental.

My goal is to give you the practical, on-the-ground advice I’d give a friend visiting for the weekend. That means being honest about what’s a tourist trap, what’s actually worth the admission price, and when you should just skip downtown entirely and head for the hills.

How It Works

I keep this site simple. No pop-ups, no video ads, no clutter.

I do use affiliate links for some products and services. If you book a hotel or buy gear through a link here, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra and helps keep the server running. But I only link to things I actually recommend.
